Through a collaboration between the Georgia Department of Community Affairs and the Georgia Department of Economic Development, the Rural Zone initiative provides Georgia state tax credits to individuals creating jobs and making qualifying investments within historic Wrightsville.
The Rural Zone Small Business Loan Fund was created to encourage the continued revitalization of downtown Wrightsville by providing low-interest funds to small businesses locating or expanding in the designated Rural Zone. The Loan Fund is a collaboration of Main Street Wrightsville, the Development Authority of Johnson County, the Bank of Wrightsville, and Morris Bank.
